The recipe

Topic: A viral trend in your niche everyone's already doing
Take: Your contrasting flip on it that aligns with your brand, zig when they zag
Format: A talking head counter-take, with on-screen visuals acting out every point
The structure
  • Call out the trend: Open with the saturated trend twice, then pivot to your flip: 'X this, X that, what about my version?'
  • Name and brand your flip: Give your counter-take a catchy renamed label so it's instantly joinable.
  • Contrast the two: Say what the trend does versus what yours does, so the difference is obvious.
  • Tie it to the deeper desire: Connect your flip to the real thing your audience is chasing, not just the surface bit.
  • Invite them to join: Close with a call to follow along, turning your take into a movement people opt into.

Why it worked
