The Three Reframes is an Instagram reel idea that fits almost any coaching business. Read how a boundaries coach for women leaders and a wellness coach for high achievers approached it before you write your own.

The recipe

Topic: A behavior your audience wears as a badge but that is actually costing them
Take: What that behavior is really protecting them from, named bluntly
Format: A direct, authoritative talking head listicle
The structure
  • Stack the hook: Name their identity, add your credential, then promise exactly three things. All in one breath.
  • Give reframe one: Take the behavior they are proud of and name what it actually is. Keep it blunt.
  • Give reframe two: Show the relational cost. What the habit does to the people around them.
  • Give reframe three: Land the deepest cost, the one to their own sense of self. This is the heaviest of the three.
  • Close with the permission line: One sentence that releases the tension you just built. Make it quotable.

Your Studio follows these beats when it writes your script.

Why it worked

"I'm a psychologist" does all the heavy lifting in one clause: it buys authority, sets the tone as clinical instead of preachy, and makes the viewer feel like they're getting a professional read for free. It might be the most stacked hook on the platform. She names the identity and the problem, adds the credential, opens a curiosity loop, and lights a candle next to three paper items so you stay just to see what happens with the fire.

From there, three numbered reframes turn a behavior the viewer is proud of into a liability they didn't see. Each one snaps between "here's what you think" and "here's what's actually true," and stacking three costs back to back makes the shift feel undeniable. One reframe is interesting. Three is a verdict.
