Why it worked
"I am 46" anchors everything in lived time, and immediately following it with "none of this comes naturally to me" catches the viewer off guard, because the expectation at that age is mastery, not vulnerability.
The whole reel is five short sentences over b-roll, and the restraint is the format. There's nothing to trim and nothing extra, so the less she adds around the words, the more the words weigh.
