Try remixing the Singular Fix for your solo business. The examples below show how a thrift flipping course creator for new resellers and a lactation consultant for first-time moms would run this Instagram reel idea.
The recipe
- Open on the flop: Admit the thing kept failing and be blunt about it. Understating it costs you the hook.
- Rule out the obvious cause: Say plainly that the quality was never the problem, so they stop blaming the thing they have been blaming.
- Name the one change: Give the single fix, and keep it small enough that it sounds doable rather than impressive.
- Show checkable proof: Use a specific number rather than a vibe. Fifteen thousand followers from one video beats it really took off.
- Let their question become the offer: Quote the question people keep asking you, then let the offer arrive as the answer they requested.
Your Studio follows these beats when it writes your script.

Why it worked
She opens by admitting everything she made flopped, badly, which is the last thing you expect from someone about to sell you a course. Then she does not blame the content. She names a misdiagnosis: the words were fine all along, people just were not staying long enough to hear them. That reframe is the hinge, because anyone who has been posting into silence has been blaming the wrong thing.
The ending is where it gets clever. She never decides what to teach. Her audience decides for her, by asking the same question over and over, what font is that, what app do you use, how did you edit this. The offer arrives as something they requested rather than something she is pushing, and the proof, 15,000 followers from one video and 10,000 from the next, is specific enough to be checkable.
Examples
A thrift flipping course creator for new resellers
“Every listing I posted sat unsold for months, until I changed this one thing.”
She names the fix, shows two sold-out weeks as proof, then points at the question her comments keep asking.
A lactation consultant for first-time moms
“Every feeding plan I wrote fell apart by week two, until I changed this one thing.”
The fix was not the plan, it was when she handed it over, and the questions moms kept asking about that became her next offer.
Multiply it, one reel becomes your week
- Newsletter: The whole misdiagnosis, and how long you blamed the wrong thing.
- Thread: Flop, fix, proof, offer, one beat per post.
- Carousel: What you were doing, then the one change, side by side.
- YouTube: Make the thing on camera using the fix, start to finish.
