Remix Recipe №31 · Easy-Mode

The Not-Yet List

Reframe your audience's stuck feeling into hope by naming all the good firsts that simply haven't happened yet.

The recipe

Topic: A fear or stuck-feeling your audience quietly carries
Take: The future wins you personally believe are still ahead of them
Format: A walking POV voiceover over moving b-roll with one on-screen text anchor
The structure
  • Open like a friend: Start casual and direct, like a voice note: 'You know what's kind of crazy?'
  • Stack the not-yets: List specific good firsts they haven't had yet, one after another, talking to one person.
  • Let the setting carry it: Walk through open, moving scenery so they watch you live the message while you say it.
  • Turn fear into anticipation: Frame every 'not yet' as excitement for what's coming, not proof they're behind.
  • Land the reassurance: Close on a warm line that it's never too late, so the hope lands in their body.

Your Studio follows these beats when it writes your script.

The hook, make it yours

You know what's kind of crazy? You haven't a good first ahead yet. You haven't another first ahead yet either.

Your take: a good first ahead hasn't happened yet, and that's proof the good part is still coming.

Why it worked

The walking visual gives the eye a literal path forward while the voice lists specific good things that "haven't happened yet," so the encouragement feels earned instead of preachy. The cumulative "not yet" structure turns a fear of the unknown into excitement for future firsts. By the time the closing reassurance lands, the viewer already feels the hope in their body rather than just hearing it as advice.
