Remix Recipe №71
The Lock In Plan
Hand over a complete plan for one bounded stretch of time, so the commitment has a finish line.
The hook template
Your how long lock in plan, which edition edition, here's the whole thing
The recipe
- Topic
- The complete plan for the thing your people keep half-starting
- Take
- The exact numbers and swaps you give your own clients
- Format
- A simple yap, straight to camera, with every number of the plan on screen as she says it
The structure
- Name the window
Open by naming the exact stretch of time you are planning for, and say it out loud so the commitment has a finish line they can picture.
- Promise the whole thing
Tell them you are handing over the complete plan with nothing held back, and instruct them to screenshot each part as it appears.
- Four numbered parts
Walk through exactly four components, each carrying a real number. Put the specifics on screen as you say them so the plan is screenshot ready.
- The weekly check
Close with a recurring check in that assumes they will miss something, and tell them to make one specific adjustment rather than restarting.
Your Studio follows these beats when it writes your script.
Why it worked
She gives away the entire thing. Four components, every number on screen, complete enough to start tomorrow. No link in bio, no part two, no comment for the rest. Withholding is so standard now that a finished plan reads as generosity, and generosity is what gets sent.
And the commitment has an end date. The on screen tag says September to December and she says out loud that you will use this for the next three months. A bounded stretch is a completely different ask from an open ended lifestyle change, because the viewer can picture finishing it.
