The hook in the wild

A single parent coach for solo moms · She calls it episode 1, shows a jar ready for 100 paper slips, and asks viewers what she should try next.
“I'm the hearing mom of a Deaf toddler, learning 5 signs a day until I know 500.”
A parenting coach for hearing parents of Deaf kids · She shows a grid of 500 squares and asks viewers which sign to learn tomorrow.

The structure

  1. The challenge

Open with one sentence that names where you're starting, your daily action, and the exact finish line. The viewer should know what they're rooting for instantly.

  2. The follow-along invite

Right away, invite them to follow along to see how long it takes. Keep it light and a little playful.

  3. Episode one and the tracker

Call this episode one and point to the physical tracker behind you, explaining how it will fill up as you go. This makes it clear it's a series with a payoff every time.

  4. What's coming

Tell them what they'll get to see behind the scenes, including the honest wins, misses, and numbers. Be specific so the series feels worth following.

  5. Let them steer

Close by asking viewers to comment what you should try next. Give them a real stake in how it turns out, then sign off until the next episode.

Your Studio follows these beats when it writes your script.

Why it worked

She says exactly where she's starting (3,000 followers), what she'll do every day (pitch 10 brands), and the finish line (100 brands), so you know what you're rooting for in one sentence.

A hand-drawn grid of 100 empty squares on the wall behind her makes you want to watch it fill up. Calling it "episode 1" makes it clear this is a series, and asking which brands to pitch next gives viewers a stake in it.
