Wondering how the Trainable Weakness would sound coming from your coaching business? The examples below take this Instagram reel idea two ways, from a fitness coach for women over 40 and a money coach for freelancers.
The recipe
- Name the struggle: Say it as your audience would say it about themselves, not as your peers would say it about you.
- Admit you're still working on it: Present tense. The system you are using, not the system that fixed you. Past tense turns the same drills into a lecture.
- Reframe it as trainable: Say it is a skill rather than talent, so anyone who has quietly decided they are just bad at this gets permission to try.
- Give three drills: Specific enough to do today. Vague advice reads as a shrug.
- Hand over one practice rep: One concrete exercise so nobody has to design their own homework.
Your Studio follows these beats when it writes your script.
Remix the hook for your brand
“If you struggle to the weakness, here's the system I'm using to fix it, starting with your first drill”
I'm still mid-repair on the weakness, and I say so

Why it worked
She leads with criticism she actually received, that her delivery is weak, and then refuses to be defensive about it. Admitting the thing people say about you behind your back is disarming in a way no credential is, and it buys her the right to teach the fix.
The reframe is the hinge. Articulation is not talent, it is a skill she is training, so anyone who has quietly decided they are just bad at this gets permission to try. Then she hands over three drills specific enough to do today, and one two-minute practice rep so nobody has to design their own homework.
She says the system she is using, present tense, not the system that fixed her. She is mid-repair and says so, which means you are training alongside her instead of being coached from above.
Picking the weakness has three rules and it has to pass all three. The you is your audience, not your peers. It lives inside your subject, not inside running your business. And it is a finesse, not the promise, so if admitting it would cost you the sale, go one ring out.
Examples
A fitness coach for women over 40
“If you struggle to stay mindful of your form on every single rep, here's the system I'm using to fix that.”
Every client has drifted on form, and admitting she drifts too costs her nothing.
A money coach for freelancers
“If your business receipts live in six different places, here's the system I'm using to fix that.”
She is admitting a filing habit, not the money advice she sells, so the weakness lands one ring out from the promise.
